Forum:
Right getting my Sportrak ready for MOT.
But I`ve a few issues
Brake lights do not work (fuse & bulbs ok).
No interior light (using switch or doors bulb ok).
No battery light on ignition on (bulb in dash ok).
No handbrake light on ignition on (bulb in dash ok).
I have removed the wiring to the tow bar, and also the extra rear lights in the bumper. All the wiring is back to normal.
The ONLY thing I have done is raise the body 3 inches, and replace the fuel pump. And as far as I`m aware everything is as it was, its just been laid up for aaaaaages.
The car starts and runs as normal, headlights and indicators work, dash illuminates, heaters work, stereo works,
Brake lights sorted, found

No interior light (using switch or doors bulb ok).
No battery light on ignition on (bulb in dash ok).
No handbrake light on ignition on (bulb in dash ok).

Handbrake was broken cable.
Is the brake fluid warning light supposed to come on when ignition turned on?? It does light up when the float is pushed to the bottom.

All sorted, swapped my
All sorted, swapped my alternator for another spare I had in my garage and the battery light and brake fluid level light work as normal.
Must have been the voltage regulator in the Alternator gone.
I`ve power going to the interior light now, so can`t check fully till I get a bulb.
So she`s ready for MOT!!
