Engine fuse keeps blowing

Forum:

Hello again chaps, my latest problem on my van is that my engine fuse keeps blowing. It doesn't do it the moment I fire the engine, but has done it while I've been driving. The first time, I went over a speed bump, and the second time I was coming over a bridge behind a queue for traffic lights.

Now, it seems likely that it's a bad earth or exposed wiring somewhere, and the problem probably doesn't occur until the van jerks in the right way for a short circuit to occur. Does anyone know where I should start looking for the source of this problem? If I knew where to look first, it would save time.

I recently changed the spark plugs, since the old ones were getting worn, and they [the new ones] aren't any type specified in the Owner's manual, they are Bosch plugs with a gap of 1.1mm. I don't think these are causing the problem, but is it possible?
