Just bought a clean terios el 2002. Super little engine etc etc, however, when the dif lock is activated I have got no drive at all, the speedo and rev counter work but the vehicle will not move :'(:'-(:. When the dif lock is turned off all drive returns to normal. 
Any expainations would be gratefully recieved.

Hi Skippy, The Difflock is actually a Clutch Type Difflock which mecanically engages once the button on the Dashboard is pressed and the 4x4 light comes on, sounds as if you may have a slipping or failed difflock clutch!! (no drive). Hope this helps you a little. Shugy.
