Very easy, and you can do it
Very easy, and you can do it without stripping the wheel hub assy out.
Unbolt the drivesfafts at the front diff flanges, undo the outer CV boot at its outer edge and you can pull the driveshaft out as one, and the outer part of the CV remains in the wheel.
Take the clip off the exposed end of the exposed CV joint and the joint will slide off, cut the clips off the inner CV boot and slide off the shaft, replace, pack with CV grease and fit the ties, the inner is now done. Slide the outer boot onto the shaft, refit the CV joint and clip, fit into the outer CV joint and put one of the drive flange bolts back to hold it in position. Slide the outer boot over the outer joint and fit both clips, refit the remaining bolts into the drive flange and tighten.
About 30 minutes a side.
on the fourtrak that may work
on the fourtrak that may work for one side but the other side as its not bolted on.
i cant remember if the sportrak is both bolted on
Thanks for that part arrives

the only thing ill add about
the only thing ill add about cv boots is the clasp ties on them are becoming more 'universal' meaning more fiddly to fit n tighten.
Full of ideas but no time to do them!!
