Thanks for your swift reply. Would the independant one be as expensive as the F75 do you think? The F75 one, if it were available would be well over £400 apparently.

Thanks to all for your comments. When you say some fettling do you mean just drilling new holes to fit or is it a bit more involved? Skye
basically yes the independant
basically yes the independant rad is a bit taller, what I know is: a freinds independant rad went, I sold him one from the leafer fourtrak....but it didnt fit due to holes in wrong place, he didnt want to drill so got a new one for the inde from milner, now yours is opposite, fitting a slightly taller rad so some jiggery pokery will be required, before purchase ask them to measure it height/width n should be ok, ill have to doo it one day cos im running 2 old leafers.

Yes. £183 including vat and delivery while Milner is £150 excluding it. Probably making it at least over £190.

Recore
Is a re-core a viable option?
only if the end tanks are
only if the end tanks are ok.
i looked into a recore for my old f78 trak and the place's i tryed they wanted over £190 to do it so i went to milners for mine.
maybe try what "if mud" has said and fit a f73/8 rad
Serck Marston still recore
Serck Marston still recore them, and they still repair them, much cheaper than a new unit and you get the same warranty as a new unit. 24 hour turnaround for trade customers, 48 hours for private.
Recore it ... Redditch.
If you are near Birmingham go to MotorRads at Redditch. Telephone number/address from www.yell.com
Get it recored and it will be as good as new.
