Hi, really would appreciate any ideas as I just dont know what to do next with my Hijet.

Problems:

van starts first time and will idle fine, after a while it does start to hunt a little. It will drive fine and then 50% of the time will cut out when I come to a stop.

Also the petrol gauge doesnt work and I have been having trouble getting petrol into the tank, when filling up the nossle keeps cutting out as if the tank is full, the tank may be full as the gauge is not working, but the other day it cut out and wouldnt start on petrol so I assume the tank was empty then.

The van runs like a dog on LPG and will only fill up 12 litres so I know needs a service but for now I just need it to run on petrol so I can use it for work.

I bought the van a few months ago and this has been happening the whole time, didnt on the test drive, lol. my luck is bad.

I have changed all the filters and spark plugs, new oil and flushed through the cooling fluid. I have had a Mobile mech look at it and he just scratched his head. Put it in a local garage and they plugged the computer up and no faults showed, then they scratched there head, lol.

Has anyone had similar problems with there van? really want to keep it as it runs lovely and is perfect for my needs but its driving me mad now. any advice would be appreciated. cheers
