Forum:
So this is my first problem post.
I was told when buying that the air con wasnt working because there was a leak in a pipe.
I have done a bit of servicing today and found that there is a pipe connected to what I assume is the air con pump at one end and the crimped to a rubber/foam covered hose at the other.
This pipe is snapped completely in 2 on the bend. Is it possible to replace this pipe or will I need to get everything else as well?
Thanks
Pipes
You can replace the pipes on their own. I replaced a leaking pipe on mine where the pressure switch/sight glass is. The gas was leaking out of the sight glass seal Contact member as he was/is breaking a turbo and he supplied me with my replacement pipe. I am a refrigeration engineer so replacing/gassing etc was no big deal for me.
