Hi sx_turbo. Don't quote me

Hi sx_turbo. Don't quote me on this but I think the second box acts as an 'air reservoir' so that when you suddenly floor it the engine doesn't choke as the rather twisty sportrak piping tries to catch up with the sudden demand for more air.

air box

yIf you remove the airbox you will soon discover why it is there...... There is a HUGE flatspot from about 3000 revs. Thats why it was put there in the first place, to try and get rid of it.
