I own a Sirion S 1.0L , 06 plate, with approximately 27,000 miles on the clock.
I purchased it some 6 months ago, and although overall I am very pleased with it I find that the gear selection mechanism is very stiff.
My local garage has sprayed lubricant onto the selector rods that connect the gear lever to the gear box, but there has been little or no improvement despite having given the lubricant some weeks to penetrate.
Does anyone have experience of this problem, and if so can suggest a cure?
