I want to replace the gearbox oil again on my YRV Turbo. I have Castrol Transmax Z in there currently but thinking of trying one of these...
1. liqui-moly
2. Royal purple
3. Red line
4. Stay with Castrol
One one have experience with any of these? Not sure if all make auto gearbox oil though. What spec of oil is required for the YRV autoboxes?

Official specification is Dexron III. Best to stay with Castrol honestly.

My last oil change on the gear box and I went and bought some Dexron VI gearbox oil. To me it makes the gearbox a lot smoother as well. Plus being 3 times the recommended spec of Dexron III.
This is what I bough and now have in my YRV Autobox:
Fuchs TITAN ATF 6000 SL Latest synthetic ATF DEXRON VI approved
I also had the autobox filter replaced with a Daihatsu one as it was done for. So hope you do the same.
