Q. Anyone know if it's easy to tell if the vehicle we've bought has one? The key fob consists of the metal blank with a black plastic fob at the top.

Not much to go wrong - my current Seat Leon's central locking/immobiliser is giving me grief; like cars 'simple' which is why we bought the Fourtrak!

Immobilser/chipped key fob...
Had new key cut and guess what, it is a chipped fob c/w immobiliser!
