Greetings from Australia. i have a 2004 Copen with a dead turbo engine. My obvious choices are repair or replacement. I cannot find any other daihatsu here that uses this engine nor a source of parts here except genuine, which are silly prices, so i'm considering a swap.

can the later K3VE engine (or any other daihatsu one) be fitted with few problems?? I'm an engineer with full workshop, so mods don't worry me.
