Hello everybody I have just joined the boards. Family car is a 52 YRV Radical with 75000 miles on the clock. Had it since 05. Always had it dealer serviced but would like to do as much as I can my self in future. Is this feasible? It need new disc pads soon so would also like to attempt this myself, although very wary about wrecking a car that has been very reliable up to now! Happy New Year any way and 0i hope to be able to contribute to the collective.

Welcome along, I'm new and had my YRV 5 days. As Dave says discs and pads are pretty easy to change yourself, and much cheaper than getting a garage to do it. I'll be changing mine later on this week. I assume mine has the original discs and they're looking a bit thin after 74k
