Hi just a quicky i,ve just fitted a replacement gearbox to my 1999 T Daihatsu Fourtrak 2.8 Td F78 i noticed the gear stick seems to be in a different place and now will select gears but is not right as the stick seems to be at a different angle all of the 2nd 4th and revers gears are vertually touching the carpet in fact when you hit reverse the stick hits the transfer box stick? so i thought i,ll just use the old gearstick, but this is different the bottom of the gearstick thats sits in the gearbox is a round ball on one and half a ball on the other, Did daihatsu do different gearboxes or floor pans across the Fourtrak Range, I,ve had a couple of fourtraks and done a few gearboxes just never came across this problem.
