Waxoyl is ok but, theres better stuff on the market.

This is what the guys with expensive classics use http://www.bilthamber.com/cavity-waxes/dynax-s50 lasts a lot longer and protects much better than waxoyl. Spray it in all the cavities and on the underside. They do a few other rust and cavity treatments too.

If you read the product discription at the bottom of the page it does an extreme test against 2 other products. Product 2 was Waxoyl.

hope that helps

Thank you

Have just looked at the link very impressive think I will consider this

Much prefer Dinitrol as they

Much prefer Dinitrol as they do a wide range with different characteristics.

Most problems with Waxoyl is what is called creep, this is its ability to creep inbetween overlapping panels which have been spot welded, or inbetween fittings welded onto a chassis.
Dinitrol do a universal system which is compatible, basically you use one sort with excellent creep characteristics for the inside of chassis and around welded components, and then another sort which is better for flat panels, you can also go over one sort with another so you get the creep to get it into overlapped components, then go over this with another sort for ultimate protection.

I apply it with a compressed air gun as I find it easier and it does away with the flimsy plastic tubes which sit on the bottom of chassis rails and don't cover the top of the insides of chassis rails or sills.
