In the UK we didn't get the YRV Turbo introduced to the country until 2003. By then the ECU had changed to take 2 Lambda/O2 sensors one in the engine bay before the manifold and the second after the manifold situated on the front end of the exhaust pipe system. The 2000 year YRV Turbo you will probably got would have had the ECU that only looked at 1 Lambda/O2. Also here in the UK we are dictated by the European Union on Car emissions, so we have to have cars that pump out less CO2 so therefore why 2 O2 sensors.
