firstly which fourtrak -
firstly which fourtrak - solid axles or independent, secondly its the cv joints, in an axled model your low on grease and it needs topping up, on an independent its dry of grease and the boot needs taking off and refilling.
Full of ideas but no time to do them!!

If it has free wheeling hubs
If it has free wheeling hubs it could be them not engaging properly, take them off, clean, and lubricate. Look in the "How It Works" section, I have done a write up on them.
