Hi, I'm changing the clutch on my car (sirion 1.3sl ). Can anyone advice me on how to do it I’ve disconnected everything else but cant get the steering shaft of I’ve dropped the sub frame and engine as there is no play to take the gear box of the spline.
Any tips and advice would be much appreciated. Does any one have a workshop manual for this car I’ve found a manual (Toyota_Duet_Daihatsu_Sirion_Storia_1998-2004) but its in Russian any one have on in English?

Hi its usually easier to take the engine out to do it,have done a couple now.You might be able to pull it forward and have a better view.Thiers only an inch between gearbox and chassis rail.Its much easier to undo the mounts and take it out from the top.you dont really need to drop the subframe complete.hope this helps........
