YRV - Fuel Gauge Problem and Heating Problem

Dear All

Please could anyone help, my Wife's Fuel Gauge developed a fault, it firstly read the quarter tank as empty, we replaced the fuel sender unit, however it only reads the fuel mark after you stop and start the car?

Any ideas?

or also the heating blows cold instead of hot, any ideas on this also?

For the cold heater, its

For the cold heater, its probably the flap on the heater box. Its either stuck shut on cold or the Blue cable has snapped just behind the control panel or detached at the box. If its not that then the heater matrix could be blocked but i doubt it.
Regards the Fuel gauge problem can you elaborate on the stop and start the car?
