Hi. First off welcome. Second

Hi. First off welcome. Second where abouts are you from? Only reason for asking is that your best bet for a radiator these days is off eBay.co.uk. Or eBay.com, there are normally YRVs breaking on eBay in the UK.
It's unusual to come across a standard non-turbo YRV in the UK in yellow as all the UK had imported from IM for Daihatsu UK was The YRV Turbo which came with an automatic transmission.
Someone on here was after a radiator for a non turbo YRV and managed to source a Turbo one. You can do a search on this site to find the thread on this. Basically the Turbo Raditor has extra outputs so that the radiator can cool both the turbo and auto gearbox. If these have not been blocked off/ have a pipe to interconnect them together then this will have to be done on your friends non-turbo car. Good luck.
