For info, my Sirion was burning oil quite badly and showing all the signs of oil ring issues. A change of oil seems to have done it the world of good. Wasn't that long since the previous one, but I've no idea what oil the last person used. A good quality 5w30 is now in. Oil consumption has dropped dramatically.
