Hi all!

I just purchased a 2004 Charade and so far I love it. A few car loving people I know saw it and said "uh oh, you bought a daihatsu" and told me it was a mistake. Are there any major flaws I should be wary of? I've read about the suspension going first and to listen for knocks but is there anything engine wise I need to be careful of?

I noticed on the drive home from collecting it that the speedo started recording half of my actual speed until I pulled over and restarted the engine. Does anyone have an idea what happened there?

Also, is there a service manual for the ej ve engine? I can't find one anywhere.
