1998 Sirion poor ride

Forum:

The ride on my Sirion is appalling. I had a short journey in the back of it yesterday and it was actually painful! It corners like it's on rails, but bumps are best avoided.

I've seen a few comments that the Sirion should be relatively comfortable, so what's gone wrong? Is it just tired shocks and springs? If so, where's the best place to find replacements?

Or am I expecting too much? My other cars are classic Citroens.

I'd like to fix it if I can, though I'm also going to have to get the sills welded up soon. My worthless little car needs some money spending on it!

Same on the YRV

Maybe worth doing a search on this forum as it has been discussed many a time about springs and shockers for both the Sirion and YRV. Also have a look at the image Galleries under 'Modifications' as I believe BobF has covered off this subject Smile
