Hi all,

My team and I recently purchased a 1997 Daihatsu Move to use in the Mongol Rally this summer. We'll be driving almost 10,000 miles from London to Mongolia. We'll be dealing with some pretty brutal terrain on the back half of the trip so I am trying to dig up as much information about the car as possible. I was hoping you guys could help me with any of the following:

• Shop/Repair Manual
• Common issues known specifically for this car
• "Must have" tools and spare parts for repairs while on the road
• Recommended modifications to the car before we leave

We plan on installing a sump guard to protect the under carriage but don't know where to buy one. Any recommendations?

I'd also like to know if they are any reasonable low cost engine/intake/exhaust modifications to squeeze a few more horsepower out of it. Or some homemade suspensions mods to increase the ground clearance, even if only an inch or two.
