spacers ,spacers, spacers.

Forum:

i have decided my life is not complete until i ft 10mm wheel spacers to the rear of my materia,
problem is longer wheel studs have to be fitted as well, yes i know pcd is common old 4x100
but who does spacers with studs Unknw
fact is good ones are not cheap but as per usual companies on web do not tell you if studs are included .
if eibach /h&r spacers do not come with studs for instance then i,ll go for a cheaper set & then
source some longer studs.
reluctant to call/email loads of companies about this.details should be in add.
good old "materia de website" (germany or holland !) will know but i thought i,d try dduk
first.
thanks, cg.

H&R do...

Do a search for H&R hub centric spacers. Bought some for my YRV Turbo a couple of years ago. They come with the longer bolts needed. I ended up putting some 5mm ones on the rears to accommodate some bigger alloys and tyres. I got a garage to fit these for m as it means taking the rear hubs off to replace the existing bolts. Unfortunately the garage couldn't do the fronts as it was nigh impossible to do for some reason. Your next challenge is finding a wheel and tyre package that won't run the rear arches.

spacers again

thanks for your reply, spoke to eibach about fitment, still no further with them!
pulled rear drums today to clean up brakes/drums, wheel studs can be done in situ but rear brakes have to be removed for clearance for longer studs, easier to remove hub as its only
four torx bolts, dont have to remove brakes.
this seems best way to go , want to widen track 5 to 10 mm on rear only so its definitely.
longer studs & spacers .
wheels are not a problem so long as you stick with 7 j, clears rear beam by just under an inch if you go for the correct offset.
i have 7x16(summer)& 7x15(winter) wheels for mine, i tried 17 inch they also fitted fine
in 7j but the ride was awful.
no arch fouling at all with 7j wheels tyres are 185x55 15" semperit speed life & 195x50 16" nankang ultra sport.
thanks again for your reply, cg.
