Does anyone know where I can buy a front exhaust for a YRV 4Trak. 2003. Everywhere I've looked so far lists 1 version that is supposed to fit all YRV models, I've tried this version and it doesn't fit the 4Trak, the gear box obstructs it. So if anyone knows of somewhere that I can buy the correct part I will be very grateful.
Get a bespoke stainless steel made and fitted it's cheaper....
Your best get is look on google for exhaust fitters/ those that bespoke make and fit exhausts. A lot of Daihatsu owners have had this done as 1). Parts for these cars are getting harder to source in the U.K. Daihatsu dealers may be able to get you a proper OEM one but will cost you. 2).If you get a bespoke stainless steel system it would ll be cheaper and also should last you the life time of the car.
but only cost me £350 and the time off E-bay. Might not fit your model of car due mine being a Turbo model.
As I had YRV turbo 2 wheel drive model with an automatic gearbox. I managed to get a sports exhaust meant for the 4 wheel drive version. This fit but the original I had would be running centre of the car this one ran drivers side to the middle to the manifold.
This was called a blitz but-spec R. And was quite loud

Thanks for the reply Jpor, sorry about the delay but had a couple of health problems. The guy in my local garage has managed to cobble together a solution so I'm up and running again.
