My 2005 Sirion 1.0S recently had a service ( 57k miles) with my trusted mechanic.
He has advised that a noise coming from the A/C compressor is the bearings wearing out and at some point will fail ( bearing). Anyone know how long this could last,, varies i guess?
A new a/c comp start around £500 as far as i can make out, so my mechanic is happy to fit a used unit if i can source one. Found several under £100 used with warranty, but how do i know the correct part number please? I have taken photo of plate but don't know which part is the part number.
