Sirion 1.3 auto 08 reg lambda sensor

Hi,
New to the forum as I recently bought the Mrs an 08 reg Sirion auto 1.3. Recently had engine light on and diagnosed it as pre-cat lambda sensor. I have searched a lot on here and through the various cross reference sites. I have fitted a DOX-236. Looking any sites they say it should be DOX 113 pre-cat - and when I took the old one out and cross referencesdthe part number 89465-b1040 this also comes up, but it is always universal fit?

Have I screwed up fitting DOX 236 which is a post-cat one by fitting one pre-cat?

I'm lost! Any help appreciated.

Don't have a real answer, but why not call sparkplugs.co.uk, they're probably the cheapest and they're very helpful. I know the earlier Sirions are sensitive to having the correct make of sensor.
