Please, could you advise how to remove a Ferroza cylinder barrel?.

I have removed the plastic shroud above and below the steering column, I have turned the key to position one and was able to see movement of the barrel after clamping it with a pair of grips. Elsewhere on this forum I read that the barrel will come out after releasing a spring plunger underneath the barrel body. I cannot find or see this plunger, it is well hidden. Any advice on its location gratefully received.
