Intermittant lights (submerged Feroza

Forum:

HI all,

I am currently working on a Feroza that has been totally submerged (up to the top of the roof) by hurricane ivan. The car is now up and running but every so often the headlight s either dont come on or go off while driving (other lights side, tail indicators etc are all ok) sounds to me like a possible relay issue. Trouble is i cant find the relay for the main and dipped beam.

Any body know where or if there is a relay or can mail me a wiring diagram.

cheers

steve

Don't know much about the for

Don't know much about the forenza. However as the roky (fourtrak) is so simmilar in many ways, try this. Take the stearing wheel off. Remove the top cover of the indicator/lights/windscrean wiper control unit. In here you should find a set of contacts that control what the lights do, under a second plastic cover. These courode quite well even on cars that haven't been compleatly dunked.

Hope that helps

Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.
