Having bought two replacement radiators that have only lasted 12 months, & two starter motors the same or less, I think I need to be careful sourcing parts. Does anyone know which make of starter is going to last? Maybe Borg & Beck? Don’t want to waste time & money again. The original equipment must have been more hardwearing I think.

I'm afraid I can't help but I'd love to know the answer too. I've had the same problem with exhausts that last no time at all.

Bosal and Walker make exhaust components of adequate durability.
Does anyone know which make of starter is going to last?
Starters of decent quality are made by Bosch and Hitachi. As for radiators — I would recommend Nissens if available.
