Anyone better at auto electrics than me....When I have my headlights switched on and flick the stalk switch to main beam it was taking a good few seconds for the main beam to activate..it was like this for a couple of weeks..now I have no main beam at all..the dipped lights seam to be working..what do you reckon folks.could it be the voltage regulator..of perhaps the dip - dip resistor on the bulkhead..anyone got any ideas

TRY TAKING THE STALK OFF AND CLEANING THE CONTACTS ITS DEAD FIDDLEY THOUGH YOU MIGHT WANT TO BUY A NEW ONE ITS A LOT EASIER BUT THEN I DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR COMPETENCE LEVELS ARE MATE, IVE HAD TO CLEAN EVERY SWITCH IN MY SPORTY AT SOME POINT. I THINK ITS THE LUBICANT THEY USE WHEN THERE BUILT UP IT GOES LIKE WAX.
