Hello fello Byway drivers - Have had a noisy transfer box for a few weeks now - guess I know this because of the vibrations through the 4H 4L selector lever. (not to mention the ones in my head!)

Luckily just pulled into my friends drive and it finally went bang!!!! No forward or reverse drive to the proshafts. Gearbox seems fine but the transfer box selection seems very stiff and oil leaking out of transfer proshaft flange!

Any ideas? I guess the transfer box is a gonna but don't want to buy another if the gearbox is likely to have suffered aswell!

Anybody else had similar issues or could shed some light on the situation?
