First of all, are they auto of manual?
If they are manual there will be a 'dial' in the middle of the free wheeling hub. This 'dial' can be twisted by hand between two stamped marks on the free wheel hub. These stamps read 'free' and 'lock'. Free being unlocked.
If they are auto there will be no 'dial'. These hubs are engaged by driving off, after selecting 4wd.
Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.

They are manual, will try it asap.
