remember "battery discharge"

Forum:

hi all
just to let you know & to save any one else the trouble. if you remember my battery would go flat after 3days
i have finally traced to the grey control unit to left of steering column
under dash, its the unit that controls the central locking and stays live even when all fuses & relays are diconnected
hence why it flaten the battery!!!!!
so if this save's any body the time & frustration great
bye until next time
bing

No chance!

Thanks for the return. However I do not think the power drain will be from the control box. 'Live' does not mean its draining power. 'Live' indicates it has potential to provide power. If the doors are locked the power drain will be almost none existant. If I recollect the cable's amp its not sufficient to drain a battery in 3 days.
