have been using my sporttrak around the field all day in 4wd, when i selected the 2wd sytem im getting a clunk clunk sound from the front wheel, completely goes when i put it back into 4wd, any ideas? is my hub sticking?

Could be a knackered UJ in th
Could be a knackered UJ in the front prop. Doesn't make any noise at low speed when being pushed round by the engine, but clanks when just being floped about by the front axle pushing it around? Are they auto hubs? If so they wont necesarily unlock emediatly the drive is put to 2wd.
Have a good look at the prop, and try realy pulling it about, with the trasfur box in 2wd.
Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.
