Remove the caliper, then the free wheeling hub, then the wheel bearing nuts, then the entire hub/disc assembly.

If your need more detailed help, just ask.

CD doesn't seem to cover the Independant, I've struggled to even get to the wheel bearing nut on mine but finally managed it yesterday!

Basically its, wheel off, Undo the freewheeling hub and remove. Then take the circlip off the driveshaft and the washer from underneath. Then you will see a larger circlip round a shiny metal bearing like surface. Remove the circlip and undo the three torx screws you will then see. Then tap round the circular copper locking nut so you can slide the part off. Then you will see a 50mm or so hub nut. At that point all I had to do was to tighten it as I'd got a loose bearing. But I'm guessing for what you want you will need to remove it to allow you to remove the hub to disassemble so you can fit the new discs

Thankyou

thanks guys sounds striaght forward enough no doubt that big nut will be a bugger to undo!! will give it a go later on in the week and let you know how i get on.

thanks again

strangely enough mine was only hand tight, which accounted for the play i had in the wheel bearings. Odds are if yours hasn't been tightened in a while it will come off easily. After all its in a place thats covered in grease so you don't get the usual rusting occuring
