Hi all ,my radiator was leaking badly so I bought a secondhand replacement from a guy in Hyde (hi Rob if your on) , Rad looked same but is off an older model ,mine has a water cooled oil filter new rad doesnt have anywhere for the pipe to go to ,will this matter cos it is running fine temp is down nicely no leaks etc but will it make any difference long term. by the way I have plugged the return pipe for now but if I needto I will put a tee into the bottom hose and connect there instead cos I cant afford a new rad.

incidentally anyone who has read my other problem about burning oil ,it was doing that before I changed the rad and has not got worse since.
