Hope someone can shed some light on this one for me....
I've just got my first Daihatsu, well impressed, but have a slight problem with the speedo, some times it works, but then stops, I've traced the cable back to the box, and all looks well, but, the unit that holds the speedo cable, appears to be very loose, and moves freely on the shaft that goes into the gearbox, there is also about 1" of the shaft coming out of the gearbox, is this correct? untill I can get a manual(on it's way as we speak)I'm in the dark on this one, so any help would be great....
