I tend to leave mine in Normal most of the time as I find that Soft causes a lot of body roll and it doesn't corner as well, and Hard is too hard, you can feel every bump in the road.

Agreed, it's a bit of a gimmick I think just leave it on normal. Soft setting can be useful over rutted or rocky off road terrain to save your bum some abuse. Hard setting is awful on or off road as mentioned, run over a penny and you'll tell if it's heads or tails, ouch!
