Can any one help please? I took my Daihatsu Terios to the local garage for a service and mot, vehicle is 4 years old.The vehicle ran perfect before going in for service however when I collected it the MIL was on and it was running erratically. I took the car back and they said that they would put back the old three pronged plugs and take out the two pronged plugs that they had put in,they said that the resistance of the two pronged plugs may have led to the MIL being lit. The car runs well now as before but the MIL will not go out, can anyone suggest a remedy? Gary
Try disconnecting your
Try disconnecting your battery for 10 mins to clear the ECU of any logged fault codes, reconnect and remember the ECU will have reverted to to its factory presets and may run very slightly rougher until it relearns its parameters.
If it remains on after that, I would take it to a Daihatsu dealer for a diagnostics check.
Remeber to keep a note of the radio code if you have a coded radio!
