my F80 has a weird set of rear springs, they have 3 main leaves and 2 extra flat leaves at the bottom with 2 pieces about 4" long at each end bolted to them. is this standard or does anyone know what standard springs should be, i only ask as 1 of the clamps around the N/S spring has broken and i need to replace/repair it.? any help appreciated.

Perfectly normal. The thick flat leaves are asister springs. When you load the back up it sits down onto these, to stop it droping too fare or bouncing about too much.
