I recently bought my sporty for camping trips next year to replace my Volvo 740 GL which is seriously being overused!The sportrak i bought was being sold by a friend for 900 quid,but i was told it needed a new clutch,which i have accounted for,so when i bought it i asked for a reduction in price so i could pay for anew clutch,i eventually acquired it for 800 quid and allowed myself a budget of 200 quid to sort the clutch out!As soon as i have replaced the clutch,i intend to drive it in some off road conditions before i go on my camping trips to gain some experience(since i have never owned or drove a 4x4 vehicle before!)so i'm hoping someone can arrange an off road venue in or around the greater manchester area where a few of us could get together and have some fun in said vehicles.(i notice there is a poll on at the mo,asking if anyone is prepared to go"off road").IF anyone is planning or can organise a suitable venue for this,please get in touch,as i have a couple of friends who have fourtraks as well and i am sure they would definiteley come to this event!.higgin.
