MY FOURTRAK IS HARD TO START AND WHEN STARTED IT WILL NOT TICK OVER IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN GIVE ME ANY INFO WHY THIS IS HAPPENING AND HOW TO FIX THIS AS IT IS MY ONLY MEANS OF TRANSPORT AT THIS PRESSENT TIME , AND I DO NOT WHANT TO GET RID AS I THINK THESE ARE THE BEST WORK HORSES AT THIS PRESSENT TIME FOR TOWING HORSE BOXES AROUND.

do u mean once it starts u need revs on to keep going?could do with as much information as u can just to eliminate some things such as fuel filter changed or not.is it driving or is it just stopping altogether, your make and model would help too ie;petrol/deisel f75/f78 ect.hope to hear from you soon. and i agree we use our for towing horse box and are very pleased with it.

To tell the truth i must be geting senile in my old age when the garage checked my wagon he found i had put petrol in the tank instead of deisel it is a good job i did not put to mutch in as it did not do any damage to the engine so i have egg on my face and a bruised ego to go with it so i do-not recemend puting petrol a deisel wagon .

if this is happening when cold, but starting ok when engine is warm it may be you need new heater plugs
