Don`t know if this will interest anyone, i`ve just fitted a central locking kit to my 1995 f78 independent Fourtrak. I can now open and close all three doors keyless. I find this helpful with the family or when its crap weather you dont have to fumble with your keys.

How i fitted it!

Nice and simple really, just bought a kit off Ebay for about £25 which included 4 solenoids. and a wiring loom. You just need to attach the positive and negative and route the other wires through the car. I found the hardest part getting the wires into the drivers door and rear door. I didnt need to put anything in the passenger door because it already operates with the drivers door.
Screwed the soleniods to the drivers and rear door. Attached the included clamp to locking handle bar. tightened everything up and thats about it!

About 2 hours work, mostly routing the wires.
