hi lads shock absorbers on my fourtrak F78 independant are'nt looking so good,outside casings well corroded so my question is how easy are they to change? once ive eventually got nuts released do i have to keep them compresed/will the new ones fit in or is it a case of jacking up and down and generaly swearing alot,any help will be apreciated havent ordered them yet.
Now to my next queery;Been looking at dash and in the dark it would be very easy for a strange driver to accidently press the 4h instead of the rear dimister button and since my wife drives the 4trak alot i was wondering is it worth putting the switch somewhere else as ive visions of doing 50mph and the 4h getting switched on and everything locking up and smashing up or worse.is this what would happen? any views on the matter much apreciated.
