Hi everybody.I have a 2003 Sirion with the 75Kw K3-VE engine. I want to find out if the exhaust manifolds of my car and the new Sirions with the K3-VE2 engines are the same. I can get hold of a new Sirion manifold that I want to de-cat and fit to my car.

I can't vouch for them being the same. Perhaps try your local friendly Daihatsu dealer (parts department). They can look them up on their PC and tell you but it's really expensive from the manufacturer. I had my Rally2 de-cat done a year ago and got the manifold 2nd-hand from an on-line part finder website. Cost me about £90 and about £75 for me local garage to make it. Well worth the money although the engine management light sometimes comes on.
