I have just recently purchased a 1991 Sportrak and it is great. Only one problem. I cannot find a switch to turn on my rear windscreen wiper and washer and there is a switch with '3 stage damper' on it and as I do not have a manual i do not know what this means. Can anyone help???
Damper and rear washer
The switch for the rear washer and wiper should be next to the 3 stage damper switch. If it don't squirt any water out when you push the switch further then just switching it on then it needs refilling which is in the rear door under a flap.
The 3 stage damper is for the suspension and on normal road conditions should be set to N. When you go onto bumpy ground of offroading then ideally you set it to H. Can't remember what conditions they reccommend you set it to S. But some ppl on here say S helps reduce vibration slightly on the motorway. Though have to remember to switch it back to N before u leave the motorway as could cause increased risk of rolling the Sporty, which could cause a scratch or 2 on the bodywork
