I need a pair of new headlamps that comply with LHD in France. I have tried to get a dealer for both Piaggio and Daihatsu from the net with no success. Can anyone help by suggesting anyone who would have or be able to supply a set somewhere in the world.

i feel for you. im havin enough trouble tryin to find a replacement rhd headlamp unit for my hijet of same shape! i dont suppose you've found anyone who sells these in your searches have you? in the mean time i will ask about lhd units while im searchin just in case. i dont suppose you will be selling yours if you find any will you?!

You are quite correct in saying that Daihatsu Uk do not have any LHD headlamps on the shelf, but they DO list a part number for them on the Piagio system at a cost of around £112 each. has anyone tried to order them for you

While we are on the subject of headlights, anyone have a part number for 1991 Daihatsu Mira Left Hand Drive headlights?

Thanks for all your comments and I have now located a source in Normandywho will send them through the post. Distripieces Normandy are in Rouen and you will find them on Ebay. The cost for face lift Spotraks with postage 517€ the pair and for a 2000 Hijet 423.28€ including post. I did try Piaggio but they kept telling me to call back so I gave up.
Dstripieces Normandy do not accept VISA and require a €uro cheque before dispatch. It is better to call them rather than email them unless the part is listed on their website. Regardless their service is very quick.
