Totaly agree. Had BFG 31's
Totaly agree. Had BFG 31's on my F78 (AT's on the front, MT's on the back). Had to wind the torsion bars up so the front stood level (mesuring the gap from the top of the tyre to the wheel arch), instead of the normal F78 nose down stance. Also had to bend the front mud flaps back a bit to stop fowling on full lock, but then I'd removed the stearing stops to alow for the smalles turning circle she could manage.
No mods as such, just thouse two minour adjustments. And she off roaded with no problems either.

CHEERS GUYS FEEL A BIT more
CHEERS GUYS FEEL A BIT more cnfident in ordering 31s ,to adjust torsian bars is it the big bolt on side of chassis leg under drivers door and do you jack it up first or leave it on the ground .cheers
Yes to location (one on each
Yes to location (one on each side of the car). And yes, jack it up.
You'll need a few turns to do the job. Just make sure you turn both bolts the same number of turns. Also befor mesuring your new ride hight (top of tyre to bottom of wheel arch) run the car back wards and forwards a few lengthes. This is becouse when you lower the car off the jack it will stand a little higher than it should, due to the tyres gripping sidways and not alowing the wishbones to depres fully.

You don't need to do
You don't need to do anything with the torsion bars the tyres are as close to standard as you can get and fit no problem. i've a set on my F78 with no modificatons,
